What is Riversdale Charitable Trust?

It began with approaches by patients who wished to make gifts or bequests for the benefit of other patients. It is now a registered charity which has been set up to raise funds to purchase a variety of materials and equipment. These will be used for the care of patients, especially in areas where the provision by the NHS could be even better.

The Trust is Administered by a Board of Trustees.

The sort of equipment we have purchased in the past include syringe drivers, spenco mattresses, a suction pump, resuscitation equipment, ECG machines, Doppler equipment, ambulatory blood pressure monitors, a wheelchair, a phlebotomy chair and our new air conditioning system.

The majority of the equipment is used by our practice nurses, community nurses and others who are concerned with the care of our patients, often at home. Such equipment improves the quality of our patient’s lives.
